...not just because it's my birthday season. That seems less and less a priority or source of excitement as you get older. No, autumn is my favorite for so many things that have become so cliche, but its cliche only because they are truly that wonderful.
Weekends with grandparents at pumpkin patches, new boots from your mom that people love to compliment you on, mustard yellow being a fun fall color to wear, leaves in the trees, leaves on the ground all displaying the artwork of our amazingly talented artist called God. Did I mention homemade pumpkin pie, I mean the real deal... and apple cider, and yes, even pumpkin spice lattes. I also love a wonderful cup of chai, which seems most fitting around this time of year. Autumn is a great reminder of being thankful for the big and little things that you've been blessed with.
So here's what we've been up to this autumn season:
| Golfing for the first time in 2 years. |
| Homemade pumpkin pie, no cans used here! |
| Helping Grandpa with chores |
| Roasted pumpkin seeds |
| Carving pumpkins |
| (please excuse the camera cord, love that smile!) |
| Happy Autumn love the Youngs! |
